Aesthetics Without The Screw Hole.
When the screw access hole compromises the incisal edge or facial aspect, a Cement Retained Implant Bridge is the best option. However, fitting a multi-unit bridge onto multiple implants requires perfect parallelism between the abutments.
At China Dental Designer, your dedicated technician utilizes a “Split-File” workflow. We design the Custom Abutments first to ensure they are perfectly parallel, and then design the Bridge Structure over them in a single digital session, guaranteeing a passive path of insertion.
Technical Engineering Specifications
We prioritize biological safety (soft tissue health) and mechanical retention:
Custom Abutment Design
- Parallelism: All abutments are surveyed to a common path of insertion using CAD software tools to prevent locking.
- Margin Placement: Placed 0.5mm below the gingiva (or equigingival) to allow easy cleanup of excess cement (Preventing Sepsis).
- Profile: Anatomical emergence profile to support the papilla (“S-Curve”).
Bridge Structure
- Cement Gap: Optimized (e.g., 40-50µm) for ideal film thickness and retention.
- Occlusal Table: Full integrity (no screw holes) allowing for perfect anatomical occlusion.
- Material Support: Optimized for Zirconia or PFM frameworks with proper connector thickness.
Why Assign Cement-Retained Cases to a Remote Team?
Designing multiple custom abutments to be parallel is tedious manual work. If one abutment is off by a few degrees, the bridge won’t seat. China Dental Designer uses advanced survey tools in 3Shape/Exocad to guarantee a passive path of draw, saving you from expensive remakes.
Seamless Overnight Workflow
- Scan: Upload scan with Scan Bodies and Gingiva (Soft Tissue).
- Specify: Abutment Material (Zirconia/Titanium) and Margin depth preference.
- Receive: You get TWO files: The Custom Abutments (to mill/sinter) and the Bridge (to mill).
Complex Parallelism? Let Us Handle It.
Send us a case with divergent implants. We will design the abutments to correct the angles perfectly.
