Support Your Ceramics. Prevent Fracture.
The success of a layered restoration (PFZ or PFM) depends entirely on the substructure. A Dental Bridge Coping Design that is too generic (thimble shape) causes unsupported porcelain to fracture. Conversely, a bulky framework kills your aesthetics.
At China Dental Designer, your dedicated technician prioritizes Anatomical Reduction. We design the full contour first, then mathematically “cut back” to ensure your porcelain layer is uniform (e.g., 1.2mm), minimizing internal stress and firing shrinkage.
Technical Engineering Specifications
We customize the framework parameters based on your specific layering technique and material:
Design Parameters
- Cut-Back Strategy: Uniform reduction (standard 1.0mm – 1.5mm) or customized “facial-only” cutback for microlayering.
- Connector Design: Maximized for strength but positioned lingually to allow for proper interproximal aesthetic separation.
- Margin Reinforcement: A slight 0.2mm horizontal band to prevent the Zirconia margin from chipping during the green-state milling.
Material Applications
- PFZ (Porcelain Fused to Zirconia): Optimized with rounded internal angles to reduce stress concentrations.
- PFM (Porcelain Fused to Metal): STL files ready for SLM (Laser Sintering) or Wax printing/casting.
- Lingual Collars: Optional metal/zirconia bands for posterior hygiene and strength.
Why Assign Frameworks to a Remote Team?
Designing frameworks is technical and less “artistic” than the final contouring. By assigning this foundation work to China Dental Designer, your senior ceramists can focus purely on the high-value layering and staining. We deliver precise STL files overnight, ready for your production queue.
Seamless Overnight Workflow
- Scan: Upload your scans. Ensure preparations and margins are clearly visible.
- Specify: Tell us the material (Zirconia/Metal) and desired cut-back amount (e.g., “Full coverage” or “Facial cut-back”).
- Receive: Download the production-ready STL file by 8:00 AM EST.
Test Our Support Design
Send us a 3-unit bridge framework. We will demonstrate our connector strength and marginal fit.
